Customer Care Team (left to right) Reece Swift, Ashleigh Allman, Corrine Fernandez, and John Harvey

Launching this month is our dedicated ‘Customer Care Team’. Headed up by the newly appointed ‘Customer Care Manager’ – Ashleigh Allman, the customer aftercare team will be responsible for providing a direct line of contact should there be any issues with a project once Applebridge teams leave a site. The team will undertake all elements of Investigating and resolving issues.

Creating strong customer relations has always been paramount to the Applebridge mission, the aim of the Customer Care Team is to provide full accountability and to further increase confidence in all the services provided by the Applebridge Family.

“In the past customers have had issues with knowing who to contact after Applebridge teams have left the site, we wanted to provide a quality service that could really support customers even after the concluding stages of a project.” – Group Operations Director Andy Ray

Though a new division, we have stuck to our core principle of ‘staff progression’ developing existing staff to bring a strong level of experience to the team, this includes both team manager Ashleigh who has been with Applebridge since 2018, and customer Care Coordinator – Corrine who joined us early last year whilst working towards a groundwork Apprenticeship.

Over the next few months, the team will be visiting all of our customers to introduce themselves.

“We are really eager to introduce ourselves and start to build vital relationships, we look forward to meeting you all soon!” – Ashleigh Allman

Based at the Applebridge Middlesbrough head office the team can be contacted on: 01642 233400 or email at

We are pleased to announce that our new charity of the year for 2022 is The Ellen Timney Foundation. This is a registered charity set up in memory of Ellen, to help support underprivileged children in the North East.

Run entirely by volunteers, the foundation was set up by Jane Timney in celebration of the life of her mother Ellen Timney who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 and sadly passed away 6 years later. Renowned for helping those around her, the Foundation was set up to remember and to continue the acts of kindness that Ellen was so well known for. The charity works with social workers and professionals to provide support for underprivileged children in the North East of England.

The Ellen Timney foundation came highly recommended to Applebridge by Remembering Rebecca (Applebridge’s Charity of 2020/21) and was chosen by the board of directors from a shortlist of charities.
